Music is hard work. It takes patience, creativity, talent and craft to come together. Eventually, all of that effort comes down to a final product that with a single click from a computer or the push of a play button in a car, has to sound great in all environments. Today, the mechanism of the music industry runs at hyper-speeds. Competing for airtime with other offerings around it while still highlighting the artist’s passion and performance has become increasingly difficult. This is where a great studio mix of your work needs to shine.
The shifting technologies in music have made creating recordings that are above-the-bar much easier to fashion. Inexpensive microphones and out-of-the-box VST instruments can sound fine, but without a professional mix from a world-class studio and listening environment, it’s almost impossible to get the most out of your efforts.
